Isaac Gracie - Terrified YTV

One big thank you to Burberry for creating this video. Their YouTube channel posts plenty of brilliant acoustic versions of tracks (too many to mention) but this one really caught my attention in a big way. The track is Terrified and is sung by Isaac Gracie (www.facebook.com/isaacgraciemusic) It is a track off of the EP honestly titled Songs From My Bedroom that was released late March just gone. What makes this version spectacular is the distinctive and mellow vocals that you can tell are singing his feelings that are straight out of the heart, true raw emotion at it's best. Enjoy!

Marshall London Phone DOTM

Design Of The Month

For as long as I can remember I have been a big fan of Marshall. Not just their amps but I have used their headphones for quite a long time now and the quality (both sound and manufacturing) is superb. When the new Marshall phone came up on my news feed I was more than intrigued. Marshall are branching into mobiles now? How much? What does it look like? Is it better than my Nexus? It turns out it is a stunning phone with obviously great sound quality including a unique dual headphone socket jack for listening to music with a friend. I'm not sure how much the new feature will be used apart from two teenage school kids on a coach en route to a class trip want to sing along to the latest Top 40 compilation. When my current contract ends, I'm going to be hunting this phone down and hopefully the price which currently stands at £399 outright will be lower by then.

KT Tunstall & New Designers 2013

So I have just got back from the New Designers exhibit in London. There was so much cool stuff. Lots of amazing, well crafted furniture and one of the products that really caught my eye was these wooden clips (pictured below) that you can clip onto any inanimate object and when you hit the said object, it gets relayed back through the cord to the unit then to the computer which then produces the corresponding drum sound back through the speakers. I don't quite understand the technology but just the fact you can use any kind of object as drums I thought it was pretty incredible. I saw lots more stuff, a selection of which is below also.

I have also been meaning to post photos of the KT Tunstall gig I went to, like a week Thursday ago. Better late than never. Such an enjoyable gig that I have purchased my ticket to see her at the Symphony Hall later on in the year. Lets hope she puts on the same quality gig she does in a small venue into quite a large venue.
