Darlia - Queen Of Hearts YTV

10/03/15 YouTube Video

Fresh off of their latest release is Queen Of Hearts from the ever great Darlia. I have been a big fan of this band for a while now and think their Petals album/EP has so many excellent tracks it was hard for me to choose just one for this blog post. I recently bought a ticket to see them perform live in May and hearing songs like this have built my excitement up to a fever pitch. That gig night can not come soon enough. Enjoy!

Darlia - I've Never Been To Ohio YTV

27/01/15 YouTube Video

This is another band that continue to release great singles. Blackpool 3 piece Darlia with latest killer tune I've Never Been To Ohio. For me it has elements of a grungy Oasis with the same strong rock sound of Foo Fighters/QOTSA which work extremely well together. Short and sweet but enjoy!

Darlia - Stars Are Aligned SCS

SoundCloud Song

These guys seem to be making hit after hit!
This is the latest from Blackpool band Darlia (Stars Are Aligned). It starts off with quite a heavy intro but then merges into more of an upbeat and punchy track. It has a pop punk era element to the music a la Blink 182 and Green Day but alongside is very British vocals which has a bit of a Gallagher drawl to it. I fell in love with the previous singles they released and this is no exception. If Darlia keep going as they are, they will be set to have a massive album and hopefully an enthralling live show. Enjoy!

SoundCloud Song

Darlia - Dear Diary

This track is from a fairly new band to me and I am a fan of what they have released so far but this is easily my favourite track of theirs, followed in second place by Candyman. This song has got me really excited to listen to the rest of their début album which hopefully comes out soon. The track has got great lyrics that are sung with just the right amount of passion behind it, really relate-able and right up my street in terms of pumped up rock song. Enjoy.
