This weeks chosen video is a bit less of an actual video and more of a picture with music but you get the idea. The track in name is Peace's God's Gloves which I am sure you have realised by now. It is one of my favourite tracks from their second album that was released the other week. With this song and other tracks off of the album, it really shows how great Peace are at producing a killer pop song with a catchy hook and even stronger lyrics. Enjoy!

With 2015 just a couple of days away I thought I would look back to a song that for me was newly discovered.  Just under 30 years ago The Go-Betweens released the single Spring Rain which was part of the bands 4th studio album. This is the album that I have listened to first from the group but am looking forward to listening to their other albums. Even though they are an Australian band I think they have a Kinksy quality and a British vibe that you can definitely hear in the song below. Enjoy!

Wonder Villains - TV

This track is really indie-pop at it's sweetest. I heard about Wonder Villains through the Intro w/ LA SoundCloud pod-cast. They play a lot of great tracks that are new and upcoming and is worth checking out. This track has a very mid 00's feel with big drums and loud coloured clothing a la the nu-wave resurgence of the era.  It also reminds me of a few one hitters and the early tracks of Hot Chip.
